I seriously don't know how I made it this long through life wwithout knowing about Volcano Rabbits.
"Romerolagus, represented by the zacatuche, or volcano rabbit (R. diazi, EN). The volcano rabbit, which is endemic to the Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt surrounding Mexico City, is one of the world’s smallest and most unusual rabbits. It has small, round ears and, unlike other rabbits, makes high-pitched penetrating sounds."
They also have Pocket Gophers.

Look at this nice albino peacock. I always thought if you had a huge garden or rolling estate it'd be great to have a bunch of these roaming around, along with light colored night-blooming would look dreamy and ghostly at twilight.
So, an artist/actor/composer named Jack West has been working on composing a fantastic score for the Travis Louie/Robert Craig show in May. The best way I can think of describing it is the Haunted Mansion meets bizarre circus calliope meets euphoric Danny Elfman. It's really great. I listen to the tracks I have all the time. We will have a 45 minute cd of the score for sale at the gallery during the show. You can get a sneak peek at a few tracks (including the fabulous "Clown Throws A Fit" which will be on the Roq CD) at Jack's Myspace page. I'm currently listening to "Dirge For Santa Claus" which is beautiful, dark, and wonderfully weird.
