Every once in awhile- I get handed a humilation that serves to humble me beyond belief. Today I got my copies of a brand new "lifestyle" magazine- Traffic, in which I am profiled...it's a huge article- 4 pages, 2 pics, including a full pager. It's pretty kick ass. Too bad they said my name was Kirsten ATKINSON (Who's last name is that? Not mine!). Rather than leaping over my desk and strangling the editor- (who was mortified) I leveraged it into more press. In which my name shall be correct. Sigh.

I take my travel packing seriously. I think of everything I could possibly ever need and find a way to jam it all into a tiny carry on...I find it fun actually. When I was 12 I had satchel that I kept fully stocked should I ever need to run away for reason, or we had a nuclear holocaust. I had an amazing amount of stuff- from a notebook and pens to a novel, q-tips, a knife, aspirin, vitamins, some quarters, kleenex, lip balm, a comb and mirror, a hotel soap, and unexplicably, a package of jello mix. So when I ran across these dumb things I got all excited and I covet them all. So tidy!

Eclectic Houseporn Linkorama
I waste a lot of time at Design Sponge- a fantastic blog devoted to modern design. Through them I found Flavor Paper- makers of extraordinary wallpaper...my mouth waters just looking at it. I also found some nice leopard carpeting- seems pretty reasonable- I'm going to order a giant rug for our livingroom. They make cool Tiger print carpeting as well.
