Camera Shy



Many of the girls I work with do other things on the side to make extra money. Some girls do porn, some do nude modeling, and some do private shows.


Others . . . do nothing outside of Fantasy.



Skye told me the other day that she was going to Canada next week to do a movie with twin Italian models (guys). About a monthh ago, four girls from Fantasy did a shoot with a guy who was just starting a porn site. It was just girl on girl stuff . . . a one hour photo shoot and 20 minute video shoot. I think each girl made about $400.00 per day. I haven't done any porn myself . . . although I haven't ruled it out entirely. I would be more likely to film a porn than to be in a porn. I have a strong interest in film and am planning on shooting a video at work pretty soon. Will keep you apprised on that project.



The closest I got to nude modeling was posing for a friend of mine who is a photographer. Her name is Elizabeth and she is extremely talented. She is leaving next week to intern in NYC.



Elizabeth called me last January and asked if I would be interested in posing nude for her. She needed some pictures for an art show, which was taking place at a small venue downtown Seattle. Although I was reluctant to pose nude (especially for an art show), I was a real fan of her work and decided to do the shoot.



The shoot itself went pretty well. The shots were on the artistic side versus glamour. We did most of the pictures in her basement where the lighting was pretty raw. For one shot, we found a rusty chain and decided to place it over my naked body, while I laid down on the cold and cracked cement floor. It was anything but glamorous.




A week went by and Elizabeth e-mailed to tell me that she had developed the pictures and they were on her website if I wanted to check them out. She told me she thought they turned out really good. I was curious to see how they turned out so I pulled up her site.



The first page had a description of the series of photographs. I clicked on the arrow on the bottom of the page to view the first photograph. My jaw dropped. The pictures were black and white and were very abstract. They seemed to accentuate every flaw on my body. I started panicking a little, thinking about these images being blown up, framed, and placed on a wall for everyone to see. At first, I thought there would only be one or two pictures of me, along with other pictures of naked people. However, Elizabeth told me that she would only be using my pictures for her show. There were about six altogether.



A couple of weeks later, the show opened. I was not able to attend. I have been to several art shows and have sat in front of many pictures/paintings pondering and concluding, amongst others pondering and concluding. It would be too difficult to see others do this to my pictures . . . with all my flaws exposed and exaggerated (at least in my head). I pictured myself being there and overhearing remarks or seeing peoples' disapproving facial expressions.



The pictures remained on the walls of the venue for one month. I never went down to view them.



The other day, Elizabeth called me again to do some pictures. This time, I didn't have to take off my clothes. They were just some mock ad pics for a class she was taking.



I came over to her house for the second shoot and saw the pictures she had taken previously resting against the wall. They were all framed nicely. I looked through them again. This time, they didn't seem so bad. I even brought one of the pictures home with me.
